What is Vozi Exam?

Vozi Exam is the HelloVozi tool for diagnostics and exam preparation. Its Placement Test assesses grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, speaking and writing in six adaptive sections, and gives you an approximate CEFR level between A1 and C1.

The difficulty adapts to your answers. There is no visible timer, you can save and continue later, and if you do not know an answer you choose “I don’t know” instead of guessing. In Speaking you answer with your voice and in Writing you write in your own words: your audio is analyzed for the diagnostic and is not stored.

When you finish you see your approximate level, the level of each section, what you demonstrated, your learning priority and the next steps. It is an estimate, not a certification. If you are preparing for Cambridge, TOEFL or MET, the practice simulators are available in the premium plans.

How does Vozi Exam help you prepare for an English exam?

Vozi Exam starts by finding out where you are: the Placement Test combines six pieces of evidence, receptive and productive, to give you an approximate level between A1 and C1 with your strengths and your learning priority. With that you know what to practice in HelloVozi and, if you have an international exam in sight, you can practice its format with the premium simulators.

1 of 4

Get ready in a quiet place.

You open the Placement Test, see the six sections and read three instructions: find a quiet place, use headphones and answer without outside help. Then you check your microphone and your audio.

A technical problem never lowers your result.

2 of 4

Answer at your own pace.

In grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening you choose the right answer. The difficulty adapts to what you answer, and if you do not know, you choose “I don’t know” instead of guessing.

You can reread the text while you answer.

3 of 4

Speak and write in your own words.

In speaking you hear each question and answer with your voice; in writing you write your own answer. That way the diagnostic sees how you use English, not just what you recognize.

Your audio is analyzed for the diagnostic and is not stored.

4 of 4

See your approximate level.

You see your overall level, the level of each section, what you demonstrated, your learning priority and the next steps to keep practicing.

It is an estimated result, not an international certification.
