2. Data we process
We process your registration and account data, information about your affiliation with a school where applicable, your educational activities and results, your inquiries, and the data needed to manage the service and your purchase.
Where the learner is a minor, we process their data with the authorization of their parent or legal representative or, in the case of schools, in accordance with the authorizations managed by the institution.
3. Purposes and access to data
We use your data to provide the service, manage your account, show you your progress, generate educational feedback and reports, and handle your requests. You can view your progress at any time. In school accounts, the authorized teacher and coordinator may view the progress that corresponds to them. We do not disclose your data for purposes unrelated to the service.
4. Audio, transcripts and feedback
Your audio is processed to carry out the activity and we do not store it on our servers. Transcripts and written responses are used to generate your feedback and maintain service quality. Retention depends on the activity and type of record; a single automatic 30-day period does not currently apply to all activities. You can request information about your records and their deletion by writing to privacidad@hellovozi.com. We retain educational feedback: activity, date, duration, strengths, areas for improvement, vocabulary and grammar errors. HelloVozi does not use your feedback to train its own models.
5. Retention
We retain your data while you hold an active account or license and, afterwards, for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account through the privacy contact listed in this policy. Institutional contact data is retained for as long as necessary to handle your request.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction, updating and erasure of your data, and exercise the other rights the law grants you, by writing to privacidad@hellovozi.com. We will verify your identity and, where applicable, that of your representative, in a proportionate manner. You may also lodge a complaint with Ecuador’s Superintendencia de Protección de Datos Personales.
7. Service providers
To provide the service we rely on providers of artificial intelligence and voice, hosting, email, analytics and payments, which receive only the data needed to perform their function. Some of them process data outside Ecuador, with the safeguards required by law.
